About Sara Carson

Sara Carson

Has been a healthcare provider for over twenty years.

She graduated from Clayton College of Natural Health with a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy, Herbology Specialization, Highest Honors.

She completed training at The Ayurvedic Institute’s Ayurvedic Studies Program I, II, and III in 1992, worked for the Ayurvedic Institute as a Pancha Karma technician giving and teaching Shirodhara, Abhyanga, and other therapies for three years. She lived in India in 1993 and 1994, where she studied Ayurveda and Tibetan Medicine, including the powerful Tibetan pharmacopeia. She has practiced as an Ayurvedic Consultant since 1992, specializes in Ayurvedic bodywork, and has taught Ayurvedic massage and therapies at world class spas, retreat centers, and seminars. She is a Practitioner Member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.

For her bodywork training she attended the highly esteemed massage program at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, and has been practicing full time as a licensed and Nationally Certified bodyworker since January 1997. She is a licensed Paramedical Esthetician who helped to coin the phrase and create the genre “Holistic Skincare Provider.”

She has the privilege of counting instructional linage to power doctors and healers, including Eunice Ingham who created American Reflexology, Randolf Stone who developed Polarity Therapy, David Carson, author of Medicine Cards, and other Native American herbalists and folk medicine practitioners. She is a Tribal Member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and is a traditional ceremonialist and dancer. She is a practicing WTF Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Most recently, she has completed training with Martin Wuttke in Neurofeedback, a form of biofeedback that allows a person to reprogram his or her own Brainwave Frequencies and alter the chemistry and neurophysiology of their body intelligence.

She shares a home with her husband, the wild animals, and 24 happy egg laying chickens at 9200 feet in the Colorado Rockies. They grow all their own veggies year round in a solar greenhouse.
